Early Decision Day Gives Glimpse of Campus

Members of Franklin & Marshall College鈥檚 Class of 2029 won鈥檛 arrive on campus until late August, but early decision students enjoyed an advance glimpse of campus March 28. Early Decision Day celebrated students who identified F&M as their top choice when considering college applications.

In addition to specialized campus tours, students and their families enjoyed academic panels and a range of dining experiences on campus. 

The College is excited to invite all incoming students to Admitted Student Days, scheduled and Admitted Student Days will feature specialized tours, classroom sessions and an April 4 for guests to understand the breadth of student research at F&M.

Below, see why members of the Class of 2029 applied early decision and learn what they are most looking forward to experiencing at F&M. 

Why did you apply early decision?

鈥淚 applied early decision because I鈥檓 committed for basketball. I knew this was where I wanted to be.鈥 鈥 Gianna (Secaucus, N.J.) 

鈥淚 looked at a lot of liberal arts colleges. This one had the vivarium, a great community and a lot of interdisciplinary options.鈥 鈥 Liam (Ithaca, N.Y.)

鈥淚 really liked what F&M had to offer, especially considering my [intended] major and what I want to do, which is pre-med.鈥 鈥 Akosua (Bronx, N.Y.)

鈥淚 got to meet a lot of the coaches. I鈥檒l be playing football at F&M, and it was really my connection with [the team] that made F&M feel like home.鈥 鈥 Daniel (Estero, Fla.)

What are you most looking forward to at F&M?
